Watching the Seattle Thunderbirds rise, fall a bit and then rise even more steadily than before until they made it to Division Champions this season has been such an amazing experience. It’s always so much fun to watch the players learn and grow so much as they experience more challenges on the ice, adapt to playing with new players and really work hard to form a cohesive team together. This season as much as any other, we’ve been able to watch the young men come into their own as they grow in confidence and build their teamwork skills to really become a force to be reckoned with.

One of the most fun ways to celebrate being a T-Birds fan is simply wearing your Birds gear. If you’re a fan, chances are that you already have something you can wear, whether it is a beanie, t-shirt, pants or sweatshirt. Now you can get the brand new 2016 Division Champions hoodie that is on sale at the Thunderbirds store. There are limited supplies available, so be sure to get yours fast if you do want one. They make great cozy pullovers to wear during games to keep you warm, and of course they are timeless as they celebrate this year’s achievement while encouraging the team to keep working toward a record like the one they achieved this year every year!

The new hoodie reads, “2016 Division Champions,” followed by “Western Hockey League.” It has a pouch pocket to keep your hands warm as well as a full color team logo to show your T-Birds spirit. The logo is embedded within the text along with some attractive blue stripes. It is ash grey and is made from 50% cotton and 50% polyester. Its care instructions are pretty simple; it has to be machine washed on cold with like colors only and with non-chlorine bleach when needed. It should be tumbled dry on medium but not ironed.

The hoodie is $44 and comes in small, medium, large, xtra large, 2XL and 3XL. No reviews of the hoodie have been written yet, so if you buy it on the website be sure to write one to let other fans know what it’s like. The hoodie joins the store with several other popular T-Birds hoodies and sweatshirts, including the green Valerie hoodie, the navy Riley hoodie, the heather screened pullover and the draper in sub-slate. Black and grey unisex zip-up hoodies are also available for purchase.
