This is what we were taking so much time off to prepare for.  The ability to dissect a player's non-random "statistical fundamentals" via a skill-set profile.

I didn't get to finish writing about it in the abstract, but maybe that's just as well.  It might be easier to follow as applied to a real player -- in this case Nelson Cruz.
