After testing the waters with a new blog focused on prospects and minor-league coverage, it became clear that the audience for that coverage is not big enough to support such a venture.

So, pursuant to the law of supply and demand, we attempt to locate a product with more demand. 

The new site: Mariner Brainstorm.

It will contain major-league and minor-league topics, with the mix in favor of major leaguers.  I hope to have everything geared up by the beginning of spring training.

Rather than re-inventing the wheel or supplanting what Jeff and Lonnie have been doing, I am just hoping to integrate my content with SSI and MarinerCentral and the existing Mariner blog-dom. 

Speaking of which, let me add my two cents to the effort to assist a long-time participant in the Mariner online community: Kevin Ess.
