Cool, thans for the info. The Tickets for Kids program sounds neat.
They’ve been around for 15 years now, so most fans probably know how to get tickets to games. But did you know that you can donate to the Tickets for Kids Program to help local youth attend a Seattle Storm game? Or that you can get the group ticket rate with a party of just 10 people? Here are some tricks and tips about buying Seattle Storm basketball tickets.
Basic Tickets
You can buy, sell, exchange or forward your Storm tickets at the organization’s website. Exchange seats for new seats, send friends tickets as a gift or even make payments on your account. You just need an email address and password to sign up.
As with most sports, tickets are also available through various event sale sites, like Ticketmaster or the WNBA website.
Group Seating
Why bother with group seating? Because you get loads of benefits, such as group seating, cheaper tickets, getting your names on the scoreboard, access to fan experiences on the court and much more. Group purchases also get first dibs on the next season’s tickets, as well as prizes for signing up early. The prize schedule, which is available on the website, shows which prizes are available by day—like limited edition prints on November 14. When you sign up for group tickets, you can also choose which fan experiences you might like to experience, if any. Hospitality spaces, like the 90-person South Suite Club, are also available.
Fan Experiences
When you bring a group to see the Storm, you can opt in for select fan experiences. Some of these include a 50/50 raffle fundraising opportunity (available for nonprofit organizations), a “Court of Dreams” time on the court, meeting Storm players and many other opportunities. Eight people can sit on the bench for 15 minutes during the warmup before the game, and four children will be “Honorary Captains” during pregame activities. Each “captain” will meet with the real captains and take home an autographed mini ball.
Tickets for Kids
You can give a child a Storm experience for just $10 through a donation to Tickets for Kids. Use the online form to make a donation. Donors can give $500 or more to receive donor benefits. The Tickets for Kids Club is provided through partnerships with organizations such as local Boys and Girls Clubs, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Treehouse for Kids, Seattle Parks and Recreation and the YMCA.
