The Seahawks have an opportunity to get to 4-4 in week 8 in Dallas. This will be of utmost importance for the team to try and begin anew on 11/1.

The team will have to make the trip down to At&t stadium against yet another beatable team.

Dallas provides perhaps the worst home field advantage in the entire NFL. Despite their large capacity 100,000 plus seat venue, many teams find themselves looking at a crowd that displays much more color than just white and blue.

The Cowboys had a chance to get to 3-3 themselves This Sunday when they faced the Giants in New York, but have found tough sledding in a wide open NFC East. The Redskins, Eagles, and Giants have all struggled and the game provided a good look at who may be emerging from the East. Dallas looked awful on the field against the Giants and even fought on the sidelines off the field with themselves.

The Cowboys will be without their stars Tony Romo and Dez Bryant for a while, but still provide a more viable opponent then many of those the Seahawks have won against thus far.

This should be an important game to really show the Hawks are back on track as they have struggled with consistency this season. The defense should be able to keep their confidence with a battered Cowboys team offensively who are trying to figure out who should take over at QB while Romo heals up.  However, the Boys still keep a strong offensive line that is arguably the best in football and could help extend the game keeping it closer.

An up and down Dallas Defense should give the Seahawks an opportunity to try and gain some forward momentum. They really must use Jimmy Graham more effectively and try and outwit their opponent into bad match-ups on line-backers and smaller D-backs.

The offensive line needs to show they are finally gelling better, while Russell Wilson shows he can take care of the football. The team will officially be 50% through their games and will be all healthy, so we will know who they are as a 2015 team.

I do not want to look too far ahead, but the team then faces a pretty busy November schedule. They will quickly play the Cardinals and 49ers again. These games will show who is the lead dog of the pack in the NFC West. After the Cardinals impressive Monday night smackdown against the Ravens at home, the cardinals will want to show they are viable this season. 

Onca again this week, a loss to Dallas could all but bury the Hawks.  A loss would quickly show the team is a .500 ball club while a win could catapult them to back-to-back divisional games before a tough, but winnable home game against the Steelers.

Although the Cardinals match-up will probably be more important, that Pittsburgh match-up is the one I would circle as showing everyone just how good or bad this team is and is. The team has not won against any really strong competition thus far, and this would provide the first real test for them. The Cardinals will show the same as they have been playing great on both sides of the ball, but i feel a AFC North Steelers team with a healthy Big Ben is a stronger opponent and even a possible Superbowl match-up.
