It's good to see Ackley, beginning to hit the ball with some regularity. Even when he was not hitting, I remained impressed that he maintained a mature approach, he maintained and excellent walk rate and did not begin to press thereby expanding the strike zone.
But what is real nice to see is that thru much of AA - Low A teams currently in play the level of performance looks like it's starting to improve somewhat based on numbers along.
One play who has incredible numbers is a left handed pitcher Anthony Vasquez down in Clinton: 36.2 innings, 22Hits, 5 walks, 34 SO, and an 0.74 ERA
