<p>More "athleticism" to cover the OF? I despise the use of the word "athleticism" is such a context. Larry #Bird wasn't a terrific athlete? Frank Thomas wasn't a terrific athlete? Bah! Speed does not necessarily equal "athleticism." Usain Bolt is likely a so-so "athlete" (in terms of ALL athletic skills) but he can run like the wind. What DiPoto likely means is "we need to cover more ground in LF vs. RHP. And he may be hinting that Cruz may get some DH time next year. Maybe.
