Seeing Los Angeles on Foot

The next time you have a day to spare and the weather is nice, grab that special someone and go for a walk. It’s a great way to spend time together and see some of the sites of the city. Get one of the best views by traveling Runyon Canyon Loop trail. You’ll be able to look down on Hollywood and the rest of the city from high above. Or travel to GriffithPark and walk through nature for a while. There are more than 50 miles worth of trails, so you can stay as long as you’d like. Or try taking a walking tour of LA.

Flowers are being left at her Hollywood star, comedy clubs are paying tribute on their marquees and fans are leaving gifts of farewell at her Manhattan apartment. It seems that everyone has good things to say about Rivers.

When the big city gets to be too much, grab that special someone and head out to explore the rest of the world. There are plenty of amazing vacation destinations that are both beautiful and romantic. Either way, you’re bound to meet someone new at these casual watering holes. Head down to Hollywood and check out Power House. If a true dive bar atmosphere is what you’re looking for, this is the place to go. For something nice and dark, try Ye Rustic Inn. The place is set up so that even if you’re stopping by at 3 in the afternoon it will feel like the sun’s gone down. And no list of dive bars is complete with mentioning the Frolic Room.

Partying on the beach may be fun, but Honolulu also has a thriving nightclub scene. When you want to have some fun, either as a couple or flying solo, spend a night at one of these hot nightspots. Try out The Standard, a relatively new club that already has people talking. You may even run into a celebrity or two while there. Or check out Addiction Nightclub. This hotspot in The Modern Honolulu hotel looks like something straight out of Hollywood. Or mix up the dancing a bit with some karaoke and video games at Nocturna Lounge.
