100 years of #Hockey in #Seattle will be celebrated on December 5th with the #Hockey Hall of Fame providing #Seattle Metropolitans artifacts on display at the ShoWare Center during the T-#Birds game against the Tri-City Americans. These artifacts include a Metropolitans jersey, skates and photos. T-#Bird players will be wearing jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. 100 years of #Hockey is a big deal...now we just need the NHL to take notice and see that #Seattle really is a great #Hockey city!

The CHL has announced that the #Seattle Thunder#Birds are ranked 8th in the fifth edition of the BMO CHL Top-10 Rankings for the 2015-16 season. These rankings are selected each week by a panel of NHL scouts. Good job T-#Birds! The #Erie Otters were ranked 1st.

I can see (but I'm not saying it's the best move) Dipoto deciding to take the #Money difference between Smith and Trumbo vis a vis Flores and Montero and using it for another starter after Iwakuma (Fister, please), or to sign the Korean closer. With a decent CF, Flores/Guti in LF and Cruz/Miller/Blash in RF might give decent OF coverage with some impact hitting. Add in Kivlehan if/when O'Malley falters, and it looks rather promising. Smith and Trumbo ARE #Birds in hand. Then there's the bush and who might fly away.
