Free Money in NYC!

There’s a new thing going on, in case you haven’t heard - some rich guy is handing out cash all over the city. The rich guy’s name is Jason Buzi, and he’s some sort of real estate millionaire. He’s part of a group of rich folks that have been hiding cash and sending out clues as to where to find it via Twitter. Of course, the amount of money they leave lying around the city is fairly small - just $50 along with a silver half-dollar.

Town buried under tumbleweeds

You may think of tumbleweeds as being a punchline to a Warner Bros cartoon, but the town of Clovis, New Mexico isn’t laughing. A recent windstorm buried part of the town in up to eight feet of tumbleweeds, drifts piling up against houses and cars, even trapping some residents indoors. Clean-up of these rogue weeds is expected to take weeks to complete.
