NYC Urban Legends - A Time Traveler in Times Square?

Here’s one of the more interesting urban legends to make its way through New York’s history. Apparently, some time back in 1950, a man appeared in Times Square, popping in from out of nowhere. According to “witnesses” he looked confused and was dressed in Victorian clothes. Then he got hit by a car and died.

Bellevue State Park

This park was originally a huge estate owned by the DuPont family. Today it is a state park featuring tennis courts, gardens, a beautiful pond, horse stables, and summer concerts. The original mansion is also on the site, and tours are offered during the summer.
