A nice shopping trip to one of Las Vegas’ best independent bookstores can be a great way to spend time with someone special. Learn more about their taste in reading and pick up a couple of books for yourself in the process. Westgate Book Exchange is a good place to go if you’re into fantasy and romance. You can even bring in some of your older books to trade if you want to save a little cash. Another excellent choice is Great Wall Bookstore. This is a China-themed store, but you’ll be able to indulge your love of everything from cuisine to art.

Find out what they like, pick up a few things for yourself and get to know each other better. Brazos Bookstore is a big favorite among Houston residents. It’s been around for more than 40 years and hosts some amazing authors every year. For those with an interest in art, Menil Bookstore is the place to check out.
