Every year, our local 4-H organization participates in the Soils and Crops Conference. Last year we attended, and we had to leave a bit early because Wood Sprite was bored and restless. It’s difficult for a seven-year-old to sit through a bunch of speeches and awards, after all, and there’s not a lot for children to do at the event.
