Unique NYC Travel Guides

Being a tourist anywhere can be tough, but visiting New York City for the first time? Eek! In such a huge place with so much to do and see, it's easy to get lost. Don't panic, though. All you need is to locate the nearest bookstore and pick up one of these excellent travel guides. As an added bonus, these books will introduce you to a much more “native” NYC, helping you blend in with the locals while simultaneously learning the navigational ropes.

Experiencing the Beauty of LA’s Historic Churches

With such a long history behind it, it only makes sense that Los Angeles should have some amazing religious buildings lurking in its midst. If you’re a lover of creative architecture, consider taking a day out to tour one or more of the city’s most beautiful religious creations. St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church is one such artistic masterpiece. Built nearly 100 years ago, the attention to detail is evident in the ornate decorative look of the building, both inside and out. Or for something less fancy but far more historic, check out San Gabriel Mission.
