Then #Family members jumped in and started calling everyone reverse racists, voicing support for the Ferguson police (without having taken any time to even read about the city's #History, talk to the people who live there, or least of all even visit) and calling people names and threatening to beat them up. #Singles #Sara S. #stlouis-single.com #Chat:12-8-14_2:13am

New York’s Large Accomplishments

A lot of people consider New York to be the best city in the world and it’s certainly one of the largest. With size comes responsibility and when it comes to making history, New York is no slouch. Here’s a short list of some “large” New York accomplishments that you may not know about.

- NYC has the largest population of any city in the entire United States.

- NYC has the second largest number of skyscrapers of any city in the world.

NYC’s History Falling to the Bulldozer

It’s a shame when a piece of history gets swept aside simply because some developer or another decides that the property it’s on would be more valuable if a high-rise condo were built upon it. With a city as dense as New York, that’s just a fact of life. Unfortunately, even the buildings that are trying to be placed on the landmark preservation list might fall victim to this urban development, as the incredible backlog of petitions has caused the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission to scrap many requests.
