<p>Been out of the loop for a bit, so sorry for bringing up old #News... But why is everyone lumping Bass going to #Japan like it was part of the original trade? That makes no sense, this is a totally separate situation. And from everything I have read about the situation, Bass pretty much had a guaranteed spot in the M's pen and HE asked for his release... Dipoto did him a solid and granted it... how does that have anything to do with the original trade?
<p>The good #News for Drouin is that there were reps from 16 NHL teams in the audience to see him score those 2 goals.</p>

<p>It was a slow #News week because a map of the 50 states has been released detailing which NHL teams are the most popular in each state. The Avalanche is the most popular team in seven states, followed by the Bruins and Predators, who are the most popular teams in five states each. Go figure.</p>
