Skyrim paid mods plan canceled

Steam's plan to allow creators to post video game mods for sale ended almost as soon as it began. This brief but instructive disaster has left a chain of questions in its wake, and the arguments are far from over.

Steam's overall intention was good: allow independent developers a way to earn money from their work, if they wanted to. No one was forcing modders to charge money, nor forcing fans to pay money for the mods. But the implementation left something to be desired, and the licensing issues proved burdensome to say the least.

Get Your Read On in Minneapolis

Finding a good book together can be a fun way to spend time with your special someone. The next time you’re trying to think of something to do, just take a trip to the local independent bookstore and browse the shelves. If you’re one of those people that enjoys the hunt for a book as much as the book itself, try Common Good Books in St. Paul. This bookstore has an atmosphere that the literary-minded will surely love. Or for something a bit bigger and brighter, try the long-standing Magers & Quinn. They have everything from new to used to rare and collectible.
