<p>Among young analytic types, DiPoto seems like a clean win over Ben Cherington, Cherington has presided over some world class dysfunction in #Boston the last umpteen years. There was the Carl Crawford, A-Gone controversy, the Lackey chickengate controversy, and now Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval controversies. Cherington and his managers do not command the respect of their veterans.
