Just a couple of months ago, the Kickstarter campaign to fund a Veronica Mars movie made huge headlines. Donations were crazy good, and within a matter of hours, more than $2 million was raised. Upon hearing that there was a remake of Stephen King’s Carrie coming out later this year, I felt the strange desire within myself to go back and watch the original. As a young teen, I was a huge King fan, although I never ended up reading Carrie for some reason. The movie, at least as far as my memory served, was a scary film and it lurked in the back of my mind as some sort of horror classic. We already knew that Arrow was renewed (and rightly so), and The Vampire Diaries' return is an absolute no brainer, but I was a bit concerned about a couple of my favorites, Hart of Dixie and Beauty and the Beast.
