Despite years and years of proven science, there are still some people out there that insist that they can get along in the world without vaccinating their kids against some of the world’s worst diseases. One of these is measles and there’s been a big stink lately due to parents neglecting getting their children the protection needed to not only ensure their health, but also the health of other kids. And the worst of this is being seen in NYC’s private school system.

Every city has its share of frivolous lawsuits to contend with. Any idiot that can’t figure out how to walk down the street or act like an intelligent human being is all-too-willing to sue the city and make some money from their own incompetence. But this latest case takes the cake. A man that threatened to attack police offers with a machete back in 2010 was just given $5000 as a result of his crime.
