The Sims franchise has a long history of issuing patches that completely break the game. Every patch that EA released for the Sims 3 has caused some segment of the Sims-playing population to rend their clothes in rage. In the case of the most recent patch, it was me.

The issue of paintings in Sims 3 is a lot more complicated than it was in Sims 2. In Sims 2, all of your Sims painted the same paintings, and the paintings varied by skill level. For the most part, the sequence of paintings was fairly predictable.
Now there’s a gripping headline for a task. Sure, you might think, I’ll wear a pink ribbon for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I’ll wear a red one on World AIDS Day… but rebuild my life? No thanks. Too much work. I will go back to my workaholic, eat-a-holic, sleepless, haphazard self, thanks.

Different stadiums, albeit about 500 yards apart, I went to games of each sport in Seattle back to back to see what all the fuss was about the Seattle Sounders and if a Mariner's game was worth its price tag.
Although most of the background music in The Sims was provided by noted soundtrack artist Mark Mothersbaugh, Maxis has a long history of tapping up and coming recording artists to lay down Simlish versions of their tracks for the game. Most of these came bundled with the expansion packs University, Nightlife, Pets, and Free Time.
