Judging by the confusion in various online Sims-related forums, getting your musician Sims' band to play a gig is one of the more mysterious and difficult features of the Late Night expansion pack. If not ever!
First of course you have to form a band. To do this, control the Sim you want to be the lead player, and then click on someone else who has musical talent. You will have "Band… Ask to join band" as interaction options.
1. In earlier versions of The Sims, you always had a chance of making a baby with just regular "Woo Hoo." This doesn't seem to be the case with Sims 3. As far as I know, you can ONLY get pregnant with "Try For Baby."
(I'm sure I read a mention somewhere that there is a vanishingly small chance that an act of Woo Hoo will result in a pregnancy, but I can't find it now.)
During the fifth grade, I went through what my family calls a “little goth phase.” I wore lots of black makeup, pewter jewelry of things like skulls and bats, and even took to wearing a Morticia Adams dress my mother had made herself for Halloween as a teen.
Ghost hunting is a profession in the Ambitions expansion pack. As opposed to a career (where your Sim spends the entire shift in a rabbit hole) or a hobby (which can be lucrative, and which you can do on a freelance basis). Confused yet? I sure am! But that's okay - let's stick to hunting ghosts!
I was recently playing along, minding my own business, when one of my Sims switched their radio to the Pop channel. I was quite startled to hear a song that I recognized (I liked it enough that I had purchased it on iTunes the week before) but in Simlish, of course!
EA has announced the new expansion pack, and Simmers are getting REALLY excited about it! (Myself included!) Called "Ambitions," this expansion pack promises to let you "control your Sim's actions and interactions while they're on the job"; introduces new career tracks like Firefighter, Ghost Hunter, and more; apparently gives you more career track choices; and introduces new skills including tattooing, inventing, and sculpting.
