Fun Animal Attractions for Nashville Couples

The city of Nashville may not be a haven to those that enjoy visiting animal-centric attractions, but there are still several great places in and around the city where animal lovers can spend some time. For those that enjoy these sorts of outings, consider making one of these spots into a date destination. The Nashville Zoo is the easiest to get to and offers a variety of exotic animals to see. If you don’t mind making the long drive, TennesseeSafari Park is another great place.

Dating and the Nashville Performing Arts Scene

If you and your loved one are lovers of performing arts, Nashville has plenty for you to check out. Whether your preference is something more traditional, like theater or opera, or more experimental, there are many options to choose from. The Tennessee Performing Arts Center is one great place to check out. They offer two venues and present everything from theater to opera and ballet. With a busy schedule of events, it’s easy to find something going on there that you’ll likely enjoy. For lovers of independent film, try a trip to Belcourt Theatre.

Movie review: 'Blue Jasmine'

I don't know about you guys but I almost never wind up picking more than one perfectly awesome rental movie in the same weekend. Usually, I grab a second thinking it's just a backup - in case I hate the first film I've picked. This weekend, I am so excited, because in the span of 24 hours I saw not one, but two outstanding films with notably outstanding acting performances: Blue Jasmine and Captain Phillips (which I will review, very soon). There is a reason both of these films are so highly regarded by critics.

Radnor Lake State Natural Area

A protected area for Tennessee’s wildlife, Radnor Lake State Natural Area is an amazing place for couples that like to get out into nature and do some wildlife spotting.  There are plenty of trails to go hiking along while you explore this natural wonderland and the park sets up many programs, just in case you need a little help in finding something to do.  It is a preservation area, however, so make sure you follow the rules so that everything stays pristine for future visitors.  Has anyone visited Radnor

1. Alabama 49, Texas A & Manziel 42

Does Nick Saban own college football like it's a family-reunion game of touch being played in his backyard?

Pretty much.

Let's see: passion, money, athletes, much-googled girlfriends?  The Tide's got it all.

One thing they didn't have was a victory over Johnny Football.  Now they've got that too.

Next checkpoint on the road to the three-peat?

Nov. 9 vs. LSU.
