Settlers of Catan movie in the works

The bizarre Hollywood trend of turning board games into movies continues, with the film and television rights for Settlers of Catan having been recently purchased by producer Gail Katz.

Is the world ready for a movie and/or television adaptation of one of the most popular current board games? Can you imagine the drama of trading two wood for one sheep - on the big screen?

Dead Ringers is the movie that earned Cronenberg the nickname of "#Hollywood's Favorite Creepy Gynecologist." It's one of my favorite of his #Films... and definitely my favorite Jeremy Irons #Film. He plays twin doctors whose practice revolves around #Women with deformed genitalia. #saysthespider
