Explore Salta

For a great South American adventure, consider heading down to Salta in Argentina.  This is a place known for the unique wines that it creates and is a perfect place for a couple that wants to take a wine tour and try some of the best.  It also has the distincation of having the highest vineyards in the world at 5600 feet.  But there’s more to do here than just tasting wine all day.  Explore the salt plains or head to the Cabra Corral Dam and do some bungee jumping or rafting.  Go fishing or hike your way through the dusty landscape or the nearb

Review: Dexter ‘Goodbye Miami’

After a week off, we come back to Dexter with but three episodes left before the show is gone forever.  So will our eight years of watching pay off?  Well, it’s time to begin the final stretch.  Last time, we saw Dex and Hannah getting close again and now they’re pretty much committed to leaving Miami and making a better life for themselves in Argentina.  Debra is staying out of everything, though is helping out by hiding Hannah from the police.  And Vogel is courting her potentially dangerous serial killer son, a son that Dexter wants to put on his table.

Six amazing waterfalls to see around the world

Waterfalls have always held a special place of fascination in my heart.  There’s something about great rivers of water meandering across the landscape until they find no place left to go but down that appeals to my sense of inevitability. In their travels, these rivers create stunning landscapes and end up producing some of the most attractive natural sites in the world.

Chile’s magnificent Marble Caves

Caves are, by their very nature, some of the most mysterious and beautiful places beneath the surface of the planet Earth.  One such cave system, one uniquely interesting, is the MarbleCaves of Chile Chico. These caves carve their way through a giant chunk of marble located on the edge of a lake and create a sight that is a wonder to behold.  Though you can’t explore these caves on foot (they are, after all, filled with water), they are still worth a trip if cave exploration is your thing.
