KAMistry, or Lack there of
is Kam's absence from offseason now showing up?

The picture heading this article was most likely not taken this past offseason, as Kam did not find himself wearing shorts much while he tried negotiating a better contract 2 years before expiration.

Many have said he should have got paid and many not. Either way, he sat out while the team fell to 0-2 versus very tough early competition.Teammates, never-the-less, found themselves airing off all offseason.

Even a week prior to This past week's Carolina game when Kam, and the referees, saved the game against the Lions...the topic once again came up. This time in the form of recently payed Bennett who said "pay the man" as Kam gave an on field post game interview following the exciting win.

After 3 Hawks watched Greg Olsen run free for the game winning TD this past week, though, i did not hear anyone asking for money.... and it is hard to not think that maybe Kam missing the off-season sessions has hurt the backfield.

Ofcourse this has not been the only time a player has run free this year, or i feel this way. Manywideouts have been very open this season vs. Sea, but for many teams and defenses this is common.

Maybe we are just a bit jaded or spoiled. The legion of boom? This is something that us 12th men must scratch our heads at after the success and shear dominance this defensive backfield has produced in the Carroll ERA. Especially as we watched it happen in the home of the 12th man... NO, NO, NO. I am panicking now... very concerned...S.O.S!

Many spoke out on how Kam kept the guys locked in esp. during practice and camp. Earl thomas was a huge believer in how Chancellor helped get him lined up and keep him right, It is impossible to know how many reps the guys missed in the backfield esp given tough offseason woes for all. Many were coming off injury and they had a new partner in crime after Byron Maxwell left town for Philly.

Maxwell has since been exposed in a new role in with the Eagles, but has seen more sucess in the past couple weeks and can be contributing to the loss we feel in practice time Kam missed also.

The team will now go on to face a difficult task Thursday is San Francisco. Being a road game and a divisional game i will imagine it will be a close contest. Just like this past week, however, it is amazing how quickly a W can make you forget all about a L. In 24 hours we will know alot more about how we should feel and what we are defensively and as a whole. Divisional games are where it lie and a loss to San Francisco could all but end our 2015 campaign.
