#Stockton beat #Bakersfield in the outdoor AHL game that was supposed to be played Friday but was cancelled due to rain. It was played on Saturday, the final score 3-2.

The game between #Stockton and #Bakersfield (AHL) was postponed due to heavy rain. The game will be rescheduled for a later date.

Young outfield bats are what I'm most looking for in return. With #Austin Wilson looking like a total bust at #Bakersfield, I'd love to find an athletic corner outfield type like that to add to the mix.

It does seem like we can't help players take the next step. Other teams get their good players - even their decent ones - to become contributors, while ours do Chevy Chase #Style pratfalls all over the place. I dunno that it falls on Jack and Tom as drafters as much as it does on them as employers of teachers. They're hiring the wrong (hitting) teachers. For instance: Max Venable is in #Bakersfield, along with several of our top-10 hitters (Wilson, O'Neill, Marlette).
Did you miss me? Yesterday was the first Game Action Recap we missed in ... I don't know ... over a year (at least on days when Real Games were played).
My midwestern burg was struck by a freak severe thunderstorm and left us without power and internet, and with some property damage. No one hurt. Got the power back about 3 a.m.
