<p>Matt, as I was composing the post below I called it the Cult of Trump. I dropped the phrase but am glad you hit the spot."Cult-like" works just as well. The more Trump is exposed the more his camp doubles down, throwing good #Money after bad. Once you made the emotional investment in any cult you're done. Goodness knows we need a Rubio win in #Florida to help stop the madness. Rubio, btw, was excellent last night.</p>
<p>Alright...tonight, I believe Rubio won the debate and Cruz had a pretty good night himself. Now...will Rubio doing such a sterling job save him in #Florida and help to stop Trump? Uncertain...the polling suggests Rubio is winning BIG TIME in early voting in #Florida with over a million early votes cast. So he may yet pull it out. I don't see a path forward for Rubio thereafter, but right now, I'm just trying to deny Trump delegates.</p>
<p>Latest polls out of #Ohio show Kasich either leading or very close...this is a good thing. :) Latest polls in #Florida show Rubio getting mulched. This is not.</p>
<p>Alright...now we have enough data that I am confident that Rubio is done as a serious contender. The correct play, however, is still to stay in the race all the way to the convention. He doesn't have to spend aggressively anymore...he can sit and wait and snipe delegates here and there on friendly turf...and hopefully do his ONE job...which is to win #Florida.
<p>Too soon to declare Rubio campaign at an end - depends heavily on #Florida.</p>
<p>It's #Florida...they've always been prone to voting for extreme populism. But we'll have to see where the actual vote totals end up</p>
<p>Many are calling for John Scott to still be included in the All Star game citing that Scott should be the #Arizona Coyotes’ representative, just as Sandis Ozolinsh still represented the #Florida Panthers after being traded to the #Anaheim Ducks in 2003, and Bernie Nicholls represented the #Los_Angeles Kings after being traded to the #New_York Rangers in 1990.</p>
