Ready for some more Sounders news now that the preseason festivities have been announced? All of the 2016 Sounders dates are now available. So get out your schedule and start planning your matches to attend—or, if you are watching from home with friends, your viewing parties. To make it easier on you, the Sounders even have this nifty Obafemi Martins desktop wallpaper you can download. It’s Rave Green and includes home game icons, opposing team crests and Martin’s trademark roaring face to get you pumped up about the new season. If you’re not into that, you can also visit the same page for a printable schedule to add to your agenda or hang on your wall.

There are 14 games scheduled for National TV, including the season opener on March 6 against Kansas City, and you can see those on FS1, ESPN and FOX. The CenturyLink Field will be home to three of the Cascadia Cup games against Vancouver and Portland. LA Galaxy will be facing the Sounders on their home turf, too. Any and all of these games will surely be ones to watch. We’ll also get to see New York City FC at the CenturyLink Field for the first time this year, which should be quite interesting. The last game of the season will be on October 23, against Real Salt Lake on Decision Day.

Some sports analysts are already asking if the team will be able to survive the summer or not. There is particular worry regarding the three East Coast games that begin in May, with matches against New England, D.C. United and the New York Red Bulls. There are two away games against the Timbers later in the summer, too. Between the travel, general away game luck and little time off in between games, things could go sour for the team, but you have to hope that they will pull through. Last year, they had a great year until the sad downward spiral at the end, but they have had such a good run overall fans have to keep their hopes high and their faith in the team strong.
