One way to enjoy a wine tasting adventure is to head down to South America, to the ColchaguaValley in Chile.  Located about 100 miles south of the capital of Santiago, this is a perfect place for couples that enjoy their wine and want to get away from it all.  The region is known for producing wines that regularly top the “best of” lists all over the world, so it’s hard to be disappointed.  Head to the center of the valley, where the concentration of wineries is the highest, to get the best experience.  And if you can, try to make it down there during March for the Harvest Festival or during November for the Jazz Festival and make your vacation even better.  Does anyone have any favorite Chilean wines?
