North and west of the big city of Miami, about three hours away and situated just south of Fort Myers, is a tropical haven known as Sanibel Island.  For couples that want to get away from it all and just enjoy the pristine beaches, this is the place to go.  The beautiful island getaway features excellent beaches with clear blue waters.  Many distractions await, from hiking around and checking out the local wildlife to heading out on a boat and doing some dolphin watching.  And nearby is the National Wildlife Refuge and Bird Sanctuary, for those that want even more nature.  Best of all, this is a popular place to spend some time, so there are plenty of places to stay, from the reasonably affordable to the luxurious beachfront resort.  Does anyone have any suggestions on where to visit on Sanibel Island?
