When your city begins to look old and tired and you’re in the mood for something different, why not get out and see all the other great towns and cities that Hawaii has to offer? Here is a trio of other options that you might want to consider should you choose to make that excursion. Try the town of Lahaina on Maui. This historic whaling town has transformed over the years and now boasts numerous art galleries, restaurants and other fine entertainment. Or head to the KonaCoast, a lively tourist destination on the islands. Shop, eat and stop in to see a show. Or, if you’ve got a few days to spare, rent a room at one of their grand resorts. And if you’re looking to delve into the genuine culture of Hawaii, try Hilo on the BigIsland. It’s not much in the way of entertainment, but you can taste the cuisine of the locals and buy authentic arts and crafts there.
