Wine lovers have likely already experienced much of what the New York region has to offer, but if you’ve missed out then consider hitting up one of these great destinations. It’s an excellent way to spend some time with that someone special. Brooklyn Winery is one that’s very close by. They have a restaurant so you can make a night of it or stop by on Monday or Tuesday to take a wine-tasting tour of the facilities. Or check out City Winery right in the heart of New York. They even offer the chance for you to purchase your own barrel and design your own wine. And if you’d like to get out of the city, travel to Finger Lakes and visit Dr. Frank’s Vinifera Wine Cellars. This history-making winery has been in operation for more than half-a-century and still produces some of the best wines in the region.
