Relax at a Wonderful Nashville Bookstore

Bookstores are seen by many as a dying breed of business. With the rise of the Internet, we’re seeing more and more of them shutting down. Still, there are some remarkable bookstores in the Nashville area and a day out shopping for books can be a great way to spend some time with someone special. For something wide open and a bit more franchise-esque, try Sherlock’s Book Emporium. Better yet, they sell all sorts of other things, from DVDs to food, so you can spend even more money. Or for something a bit more library-like, Parnassus Books is the way to go. Not only are they praised by media for being an excellent bookstore, they are dedicated to bringing in a variety of authors, so you might just meet someone you admire. And for a wide selection of books both new and used, head to Landmark Booksellers in downtown Franklin.
