NYC City’s Most Expensive Place to Live - Ready to Pay $500k?

If you thought living in New York was expensive… well, you’d be right. But just in case you felt like making life extra expensive, here’s the place you’d want to live. It’s the most expensive rental in the city and it will cost you a cool half-million bucks to rent it for just one month.

This is the Pierre Suite, aka the entire 39th floor of the PierreHotel. It totals 6 bedrooms and 6-and-a-half bathrooms and measures in at nearly 4800 square feet. It’s a combination of the Presidential Suite and what’s left over on the 39th floor. The Presidential by itself is just $400k - what a deal!

This price tag definitely puts into perspective the level of crazy required to be a casual billionaire in New York City. For the rest of us, that $500k a month would go a lot further than a fancy apartment, that’s for damned sure.
