Few things are more relaxing than just sitting at your local dive bar and tossing back a few drinks. Whether you’re spending time with your loved one or trying to meet someone new, dive bars can be the perfect nighttime destination. Check out the aptly-named Dive Bar on E. Santa Clara St. They’re a bit more upscale than what you might expect, featuring DJs, premium liquor brands and karaoke, but it’s still a great place to spend an evening. Or head to Hyde Park Cocktail Lounge, a safe haven against the crowds and noise of the typical drinking scene. And there’s always Patty’s Inn. It’s been a staple of San Jose for nearly a century and is still committed to making sure you can get a strong drink for a reasonable price.
