NYC Famous Faces - David Duchovny

New York City is a place that attracts people from all over the world. As a result, we’ve seen quite a few famous faces come out of the city or settle down to make their homes there. Here’s a spotlight on just one of those celebrity personalities.

David Duchovny - Yup, this X-Files and Californication star is a genuine New Yorker. He may not be one of the most well-known actors in the world, but he’s won a couple of Golden Globes and imprinted himself on society in a way that will always bring to mind the sobering fact that “the truth is out there”.

Duchovny was born in NYC in 1960. He would go on to graduate from Princeton with a degree in English Literature, a degree he would further enhance at Yale. As he earned these accolades, he was building a side-career in acting. He did several small roles, showing up here in there beside big stars and small alike. Eventually, 1993 would arrive and bring the X-Files. The rest is geek history, as Fox Mulder and Duchovny’s claim-to-fame was born. He’s reported to be a pretty nice guy with a great sense of humor and if you’ve seen some of his smaller projects that’s a rumor that you can believe.

Next up, this famous New Yorker will be taking on none-other-than Charles Manson in a new show titled Aquarius.
