If you and your loved one have the urge to see a film together, skip the regular night at the cinema and check out one of these great San Jose film festivals. Cinequest is perhaps the most famous of them all, taking place from late February to early March. They showcase a ton of great films from up-and-coming artists. Or try out the International Short Film Festival in mid-October if you’re in the mood to see innovative offerings from filmmakers from all around the world. And if you’d like a festival with a cultural focus, late October and early November brings the Jewish Film Festival.
