Try a Relaxing Couple’s Picnic

Sometimes it’s good to just get out of the house and have a nice picnic. The next time you and your special someone have a day off, try visiting one of Austin’s best picnic spots. If you want a place that’s all set up for picnics and BBQs, try EmmaLongMetropolitanPark. They charge a small entry fee, but there’s plenty of room to relax without bumping elbows with anyone else. Or head to Water E. Long Park, where you can have a picnic and then, when you’re done eating, rent a kayak to go cruising on the lake. Or check out MountBonnell and have yourselves a picnic complete with an amazing view and a beautiful sunset.
