Events for the Active - June 28th

Feel like staying active but getting bored of running aimlessly around the block? Check out a few of this week’s NYC events for those that want to get out, have some fun and keep in shape at the same time.

Achilles Hope & Possibility Run - Central Park - June 29th

This 5K running event combines both regular and disabled athletes for a run that helps bring people together. There are a variety of prizes to win and special kids’ events as well. And you can always stick around after the run to take part in the post-race festival.

Tour de Queens - FlushingMeadowsCoronaPark - July 6th

See the Queens area on the back of a bike by challenging yourself with this 20-mile biking event. It’s a great way to spend a day at the tail of the 4th of July weekend.
