DVD/Blu-Ray Releases for June 17th

Every week brings the release of some of your favorite films to the world of DVD and Blu-ray. As a courtesy to you, I’ve hunted down some of this week’s releases so that you can decide just how to stock your collection.

The LEGO Movie - It’s finally here, that movie about LEGOs that captivated audiences both young and old. If you haven’t seen it yet, this is a must-rent. And even if you have seen it, it’s definitely good enough for a second watch.

The Grand Budapest Hotel - Directed by Wes Anderson, this is a film that may or may not intrigue you. It tells the tale of Gustave H. and the famous titular hotel. Praised for its visual effects and great dialogue, it’s worth a watch for lovers of Anderson or art films in general.

Ernest & Celestine - This is a cute, under-the-radar, French animated film that is perfect for lovers of foreign films with a light-hearted appeal. Couples that enjoy Disney movies will find this to be a great choice for a quiet night at home.
