Welcome to the Nashville singles scene
Nashville is a tough town for singles. It doesn't draw in the kind of young, hip singles that towns like Austin or Seattle do. Even Salt Lake City ranks higher on the list of "best towns for singles" than Nashville. Ouch!
As you navigate the tricky Nashville dating scene, you may find yourself looking for that perfect place to take your date for dinner. Here are three great suggestions from the cream of Nashville's restaurant crop:
Husk (Downtown)
This modern take on Southern cuisine rotates their menu daily, and focuses on fresh, local ingredients. From grits to chess pie, Husk delivers old school traditional favorites with a contemporary twist, and the service and ambience is top notch.
Lockeland Table (East Nashville)
Widely considered one of the best restaurants in East Nashville, Lockeland Table fills up early, so you will want to make reservations ahead. If you want "dinner and a show," so to speak, check out the pizza bar in the back, where you can watch them making their awesome pizzas by hand.
The Melting Pot (Downtown)
Is there any more romantic meal than fondue? Fondue may not seem romantic, what with all the cheese and boiling oil, but let's not go there. Check out this lovely quiet restaurant for a leisurely romantic dinner. Be sure to save room for the chocolate fondue dessert!
