For those who truly love good music of all sorts, a day or two out at a themed festival can often beat out even the best of concerts. Here are two musical festivals in the NYC area that will be taking place during the month of June.

NYC Electroacoustic Music Festival – AbronsArtsCenter – June 21^st through June 28^th

This mix of music and art brings to New York some of the best electroacoustic talents in the entire world for more than a week of performances and exhibits. Each day presents a full line-up of amazing works, so there’s plenty to see here. So grab some tickets and see this fabulous festival.

Rockland-Bergen Music Festival – German-Masonic Fairgrounds (Tappan) – June 27^th & 28^th

This smaller music festival takes place a little ways away from NYC, but if you’d like to see a great line-up of lesser-known artists, it can be a wonderful weekend trip. More than three dozen performers will be present and there will also be some late-night concerts in nearby venues, just in case you want to keep the party going.
