If you’re one half of a couple that enjoys either watching or getting up close and personal with exotic and interesting animals, consider theming your next date to take that into account. You and your loved one can have lots of fun by checking one of the Houston area’s many animal-centric attractions. The Houston Zoo is the classic place to spend a day enjoying the wonders of wildlife. If you don’t mind going a little bit further out of the city, head to Alive and see their Bayou Wildlife Zoo, a combination safari and wildlife reserve. Or check out the CockrellButterflyCenter, a beautiful exhibit with a waterfall, tropical plants and hundreds of butterflies.
