When you’re looking for something interesting to do while planning a day out with your loved one, consider exploring the city of Austin’s rich history and culture. There are many historic sites and tourist attractions to see and chances are that you’ve overlooked many of them. So bring along your date and delve deeper into your city. You can check out the state capitol building and even take a tour. Or head to the Governor’s Mansion and tour this historic building. St. Mary’s Cathedral is another Austin landmark that offers some beautiful architecture to look at. And lovers of literature will probably want to stop by the LBJ Library and see all the exhibits that they have on display.
