A Few Unusual Distractions for April

Feel like doing something a bit different this month? Well, you’re in the city of San Francisco, so finding unusual activities isn’t that hard. Here are two that you might consider when you’re searching for something to occupy a day.

America’s Test Kitchen Live - Palace of Fine Arts - April 8th

This stage show brings some of the cast of the TV show of the same name out for live cooking demonstration and performance. See them cook up some experimental cuisine while listening to their tales from the kitchen. And you’ll even get a chance for a little Q&A while you’re there.

Cirque du Soleil - Varekai - Stockton Arena - April 15th through April 19th

This renowned performance group has done many shows in its time and is known worldwide for their amazing theatrics and stunts. Their latest follows the story of Icarus, although instead of dying, the main character ends up in a fantastical land once he melts his wings. If you’ve never seen Cirque du Soleil before, don’t miss this chance.
