If thats his plan, I can definetly get behind it. Ackley has a shot of being very attractive at 27 years to a contender with the need....
Even so, I prefer locking up the Felixs and Harens in year 1 or 2 to massive long-term deals. I wanted a 9 year deal for Felix in his sophmore season.. with Boras as Ackley's agent though it may make more sense to deal him before abitration year 6.
