Wisconsin will start salting its roads with cheese waste
Why not!
This winter, Wisconsin is going to be salting its roads with cheese brine, the salty water leftover from the cheesemaking process. Milwaukee will be the first major city to try using cheese brine to de-ice its roads, and if it works well, this pilot program will be expanding. I love to see people putting waste to good use, instead of just dumping it!
