Thousand Islands National Park, Ontario

For a day out hiking or boating in Canada

Whether you’re coming out of New York, Vermont or Ontario, the ThousandsIslandsNational Park is an amazing piece of nature to visit when you need some time away from the trappings of civilization.  Situated right at the Canadian border, this is a favorite spot for people that enjoy boating, as you can traverse the rivers and inlets among all the beautiful islands.  And if you have a few days to spare, there are several campsites in the area so you can make an entire weekend out of it.  Either way, you won’t be disappointed with this beautiful piece of Canada.  Has anyone been to Thousand Islands before?  What was your favorite thing to do there?
