Wood Tavern is a great corner hangout where you can go to relax without the pretentions of many other Miami night spots.  This is a bar that was designed to serve a specific purpose - to give regulars a place to call their home away from home.  The drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable.  The people here, both staff and customers alike, are friendly and always willing to welcome some new blood to the place.  If simple and laid-back is what you’re looking for, give this place a try.  Has anyone been to Wood Tavern before?  How was your experience there?
